White Celestite with Golden Calcite – Clay Center, Ohio
Rare U.S. Locality | Thumbnail-Sized Specimens
These luminous miniature specimens feature clear to milky-white celestite blades adorned with sparkling golden calcite crystals, sourced from the historic White Rock Quarry in Clay Center, Ohio. This classic Midwestern locality is long closed, making these combinations increasingly hard to find.
Each thumbnail-sized piece (~1/2"–1.5") captures a perfect contrast between soft, icy celestite and warm, honey-colored calcite—an elegant and rare pairing from American soil. Despite their small size, the crystal form and clarity make them standout additions to any mineral tray or collector’s case.
